Domina is a special edition wine, produced from Malbec grapes grown in Marsovin’s privately owned estates in Malta. Marsovin is known for its explorative and innovative approach to winemaking in Malta, Domina is symbolic of this culture that the winery adopts. The story of this wine began in 2013 when the first Malbec vines were planted in Marsovin’s Estate in Wardija. It is only as consequence of the success of this trial that Marsovin decided to plant Malbec in four of its other estates around Malta.
Domina is dedicated to Mrs. Giovanna Natalizia Cassar, the leading lady of the Cassar family and grandmother to the 4th Generation.
Deep and dark in colour, the 2023 vintage shows the true character of Malbec with a local touch. Ripe aromas of blackberry, plum and cherry blend with notes of vanilla, tobacco and a hint of dark chocolate from the oak. Full-bodied, complex and powerful, it remains smooth and well-balanced on the palate.
This product comes in an elegant wooden gift box and includes three bottles from the 2023 vintage.
